Your Questions Answered

Everything you need to know about travel vaccines at Slough Travel Clinic.

How far in advance should I book my travel vaccinations at Slough Travel Clinic?

We recommend booking at least 6 to 8 weeks before your departure date. Some vaccines, such as Rabies and Japanese Encephalitis, require multiple doses given over several weeks. That said, if your trip is imminent, please still contact us. We can often provide partial protection or single-dose alternatives depending on your destination and timeline.

No referral is needed. You can book directly with us online or by phone. We are an independent travel health clinic and you do not need to be registered with a local GP to access our services.

Yes. Slough Travel Clinic is an officially designated Yellow Fever vaccination centre, authorised to administer the vaccine and issue the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP), which is required for entry into certain countries.

Many of our vaccines are suitable for children, though age restrictions and dosage vary by vaccine. We recommend booking a family travel health consultation so we can assess each child individually and ensure they are protected appropriately for the destination.

You can manage your appointment online through the booking confirmation email you receive, or by calling the clinic directly. We ask for at least 24 hours notice where possible.

Yes. We issue official vaccination records for all vaccines administered at our clinic. For Yellow Fever specifically, we issue the internationally recognised ICVP booklet, which serves as legal proof of vaccination for border control.

Prices vary by vaccine. You can view our full price list on this page or contact us for a specific quote. We keep our pricing transparent with no hidden consultation fees added on top.
